Day 11-13
Yes! My title literally describes my controller nightmare.. Its been two days since I was pushing myself to understand the testing I have to make for the whole boxvalet project.
This was and is my workspace for the whole controller testing task (using the Aptana IDE)
But Yes! It seems like the task runs away from me for I still can’t proceed with the testings since I still can’t fully understand what it does and should do for the system. And understanding the code (that I didn’t made) was hard because I think the relationship of each table was completely concealed from me. I have gone through several tutorials but adopting it to our project’s code was definitely a hard task. So now, I’m resting myself to my supervisor’s advise, that was to familiarize myself with the table’s controllers (which will really take a week, or two, for me to understand) then try to debug the testings (which were automatically generated by rspec) then try to edit and modify it to make more efficient tests. So for this week, (may be until next week) controller testings will be the focus of this second (and maybe final) part of my task. =)
