to my last day at work… Well, not really. I honestly was not looking forward to my last day. If i only had my vacation before the summer started, I probably would have extended until Mei Ann finished, or maybe until the last working day of May.
Anyways, the documentation was checked by sir Al. He asked for other stuff to put in and some to scrap. With the additional requirements, we also needed to modify some parts of the program itself. Since Mei Ann had no other tasks, she began revising some parts of the documentation while i revised part of the code. I finished in the afternoon and went back to documentation. I spent a long time taking screen shots of every error message prompted for invalid user input, etc. So at the end of the day, we finished! Hooray.
We also had lunch at New Bombay. The food Bill ordered for us tasted really good. I wasn’t expecting something really good from Indian food, but it turned out well. Yummy! It also turned out unbelievably heavy. I ate a lot less than what i used to eat and I was full after.

Bill also shared some funny stories about their cat, his family and lots more.
The next 2 days, we waited for other tasks to be given to us. But there were not many. So we had a lot of time to relax.
Wednesday, the new OJT, Cedric, arrived. So yey! we had some things to do. The morning, i was to explain to him the Serial number generator algorithm and few information on how he could learn VB. Also, i showed him how the VB in the excel sheets worked. So there. There rest of the time, since mei ann had some tasks, we just chatted about the company and about the life of a CS student in both our schools (bonding?). The afternoon he spent with Mei Ann learning the algorithms and stuff about the programs she did.
I played games during the afternoon. The people who saw me play did not really mind. Besides, there was no work to be done yet. Sir Al has not checked the documentation because he was still really busy.
We also had a short lecture on cryptography! Very informative. We also tried the OCS tool on the encryption. So cool, the way they made it. It had some charts so you could visualize how the process is done.
We left quite early today. Thursday will be krispy kreme day!
